Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes per shift
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
- Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
- Ability to bend at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour per shift
- Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, including climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs
- Flexible availability for shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Experience as a sales associate or cashier is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers
- Strong problem-solving skills and quick thinking
- Motivation to advance in a retail career
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Run the cash register and cashier transactions
- Make product purchase suggestions to customers
- Work with the store's food program when required
- Maintain high store standards for appearance inside and outside
- Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance
- Collaborate with team members to accomplish daily store goals
