Job Requirements
- Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English
- physical capability to tour the gym including walking and climbing stairs
- ability to bend, kneel, and perform repetitive arm movements
- able to stand for long periods
- proficiency in computer operations
- ability to lift at least 50lbs
- willingness to complete background checks if required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to provide exceptional customer service
- proficiency with phone etiquette and point-of-sale systems
- strong organizational skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- knowledgeable about fitness industry or willingness to learn
- ability to multitask and handle issues with professionalism
- experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles preferred
Job Duties
- Welcome, greet, and interact with all members, prospective members, and guests
- provide membership information and facilitate tours
- complete daily cleaning tasks and ensure gym presentation is always extraordinarily clean
- membership sign-ups, answering phones, point-of-sale transactions, and addressing member concerns
- assist with billing issues and disputes and escalate to leadership when needed
- regularly review and complete all training materials and updates in the Learning Management System (LMS)
- maintain knowledge and assist members with all amenities, membership offerings, fitness programs, and equipment functions
- make and serve smoothies, if applicable, ensuring they meet customer specifications and maintaining quality standards
- attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings
