Job Requirements

  • Ability to work early mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and move intermittently for 4 to 8 hours
  • Ability to see, hear, and speak clearly
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including holidays and weekends
  • Physical stamina required to perform duties throughout the shift

Job Qualifications

  • Restaurant, retail, or guest service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Positive attitude and a desire to provide excellent guest service
  • Basic math skills for cash handling
  • Ability to learn company policies and procedures quickly

Job Duties

  • Provide incredible guest service by developing personal ongoing relationships with guests
  • Practice active listening and connection with guests
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively solve guest opportunities by demonstrating product knowledge and hospitality
  • Make enthusiastic and knowledgeable recommendations to delight guests
  • Create day-making experiences that spark a chain reaction of good
  • Hand-craft beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures
  • Heat, prepare, and serve Caribou food offerings to Caribou standard operating procedures
  • Float between barista and guest service roles and willingly fulfill all team member responsibilities
  • Take guest orders and manage cash drawer following all cash handling policies and procedures
  • Maintain the look and feel of a well-run store by following cleanliness, sanitization and organization standards
  • Think and act upon what the team and guest will need in the future
  • Differentiate between problems that can be solved directly and when to ask for leader support
  • Follow direction from leaders while managing multiple priorities
  • Bring the Core Values to life by supporting one another, making fun happen, being yourself, taking ownership, and serving with love
