Job Requirements

  • ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds
  • ability to reach and move items from six feet high to six inches off the ground
  • ability to safely and correctly operate kitchen equipment such as sheeter machine and vertical cutting mixer (must be 18 years or older for some equipment)
  • ability to perform "Shakerboard" duties (must be 18 years or older)
  • ability to apply pressure to cut and clean products
  • ability to count, separate, and weigh food products and inventory items
  • ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers including reading, speaking, hearing, and writing
  • ability to understand direction, instructions, and product specifications
  • ability to process and complete customer orders

Job Duties

  • receive direction from the restaurant management team to perform job effectively
  • practice established procedures and use proper tools for taking and preparing customer orders
  • handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 55 pounds and reaching high and low shelves
  • safely utilize kitchen equipment including sheeter machine, vertical cutting mixer, sauce ladle, pan grippers, spatula, pizza cutter, knives, can opener, and other tools
  • perform "Shakerboard" duties by working outside holding signs (18 years or over)
  • apply pressure to cut and clean products
  • count, separate, and weigh food products and inventory items
  • communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
  • understand and follow directions, instructions, and product specifications
  • process and complete customer orders
