Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
- Ability to push and pull with a force of 20 pounds
- Ability to bend at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour
- Ability to grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to work days and evening shifts
- Reliable and consistent attendance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Experience as a sales associate or cashier is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Problem-solving skills
- Quick thinking and ability to offer product suggestions
Job Duties
- Greet customers and provide friendly service
- Run the register and handle cashier duties
- Make purchase suggestions to customers
- Support the food program as needed
- Maintain store appearance inside and out
- Interact with customers and coworkers to achieve daily goals
- Provide predictable onsite attendance
