Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous food service or customer service experience helpful but not required
  • must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • must possess basic math skills for cash handling
  • must have good communication skills
  • must be at least 16 years old to comply with child labor laws
  • must be able to follow safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Duties

  • Greet and thank customers
  • place customer food and beverage orders through verbal communication and/or automated systems
  • relay customer orders from service counter to kitchen operations
  • cook, prepare, package and pour food and beverages using kitchen equipment while following food safety procedures
  • stock kitchen and service areas with necessary supplies
  • stock salsa bars with sauces, condiments, and utensils
  • fill customer food and beverage orders
  • collect customer payments and return proper change using cash register
  • unload deliveries of food, beverage, and service materials
  • clean interior and exterior of restaurant premises including floors, tables, windows, countertops, and kitchen equipment
  • observe and follow alcoholic beverage laws when applicable
  • maintain safe public access to the restaurant
  • perform all other duties as assigned by management
