Job Requirements
- minimum age of 16 years
- ability to lift 50+ pounds
- ability to work in a fast-paced, highly stressed environment

- ability to write simple correspondence in English

- ability to move freely throughout the store and walk-in refrigerators
- ability to test products by taste, color, and smell
- compliance with all health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience in the food service industry or equivalent retail experience
- current food handler certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days
- basic math and reading skills
- ability to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions in English
- strong guest focus with excellent people skills
- availability to work shifts
- ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with co-workers
- compliance with health and sanitation laws
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience with computer, smart phones, iPads, retail handhelds, and POS systems preferred
- general knowledge of food industry or retail operations preferred
- background in nutrition highly desirable
Job Duties
- Deliver the ultimate customer service experience and impressions of the Jamba brand
- responsible for customer product and service standards
- follow all company operations policies and procedures
- deliver exceptional in-store customer experience by embodying brand core values
- clean blenders, small wares, merchandise, and store facilities
- operate food preparation machinery as per age requirements
- stock all supplies
- respond to directions accurately and timely
- adhere to Jamba food, safety, and security guidelines
- master station operations of the store
- complete Jamba store and company policy trainings successfully
- make and serve all Jamba products to specifications
- follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- execute proper portion control
- suggest and upsell products assertively
- operate cash register and handle cash transactions
- operate point-of-sale system efficiently
- serve and provide samples to guests
- set up equipment and supplies for opening
- clean and put away equipment at closing
- perform cleaning and maintenance as directed
- comply with uniform and hygiene standards
- maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- comply with Fresh Dining Concepts policies and relevant federal and state regulations
