Job Requirements
- ability to lift 50 pounds or more

- ability to move freely throughout the store including in refrigerators and freezers
- ability to test products by taste, color, and smell
- minimum age of 16 years
Job Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience in the food service industry or equivalent retail experience
- current food handler certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- basic math and reading skills
- ability to understand and carry out instructions in English
- strong guest focus with excellent people skills
- availability to work shifts
- ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
- compliance with health and sanitation laws
- high school diploma or commensurable experience preferred
- experience with computer, smart phones, iPads, retail handhelds, and POS systems preferred
- general knowledge of food industry or retail operations preferred
- background in nutrition highly desirable
Job Duties
- Deliver the ultimate customer service experience and impressions of the Jamba brand
- responsible for customer product and service standards
- follow all company operations policies and procedures
- execute quality store operations including cleaning blenders and store facilities, and stocking all supplies
- respond to directions accurately and timely
- adhere to all Jamba food, safety and security guidelines
- master store station operations
- complete Jamba store and company policy trainings
- provide consistent product quality by making and serving products to specifications following health, safety and sanitation guidelines
- assertively suggest and upsell to increase profitability
- operate cash register, handle cash transactions, and operate point-of-sale system efficiently
- serve and provide samples to guests
- set up and break down equipment and supplies for opening and closing
- perform cleaning and maintenance procedures
- comply with uniform policy and company hygiene standards
- maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- comply with company policies including federal and state regulations
