Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 16 years old
- ability to lift 50+ pounds
- ability to work in a fast-paced and highly stressed environment

- occasional long hours within state and federal laws
- ability to write simple correspondence in English
- ability to effectively communicate safety and information to guests and employees
- ability to move freely in store including walk-in refrigerators and freezers
- ability to test products by taste, color and smell
Job Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience in the food service industry or equivalent retail experience
- current food handler certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- basic math and reading skills
- ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions in English
- strong guest focus with excellent people skills and a positive attitude
- availability to work shifts
- ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
- compliance with all health and sanitation laws
- high school diploma or commensurable experience preferred
- experience with technology including POS systems preferred
- general knowledge of food industry or retail operations preferred
- background in nutrition highly desirable
Job Duties
- Deliver the ultimate customer service experience and impressions of the Jamba brand
- responsible for customer product and service standards
- follow all company operations policies and procedures
- deliver an exceptional customer in-store experience by embodying the brand core values
- execute quality store operations including cleaning blenders, small wares, merchandise and store facilities
- operate food preparation machinery as per age requirements
- stock all supplies
- respond to directions accurately and timely
- adhere to all food, safety and security guidelines
- master station operations
- complete store and company policy trainings
- consistently make and serve all products to specifications
- follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines
- execute proper portion control
- suggest and upsell professionally
- operate cash register and handle cash
- operate point-of-sale system efficiently
- serve and provide samples
- set up and break down equipment and supplies
- perform cleaning and maintenance as directed
- comply with uniform policy and hygiene standards
- maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- comply with company policies and federal and state regulations including OSHA and EEO
