Job Requirements
- You are at least 16 years of age
- You want to delight customers with great food and good vibes
- You love working in a fast paced, friendly environment
- You enjoy higher levels of noise from music, customer and employee traffic
- Good physical fitness to stand, walk and lift
- Ability to comply with health and safety standards
- Illinois applicants must obtain food safety certification within 30 days of employment
Job Qualifications
- Friendly and customer service oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle fast paced environment
- Team player
- Ability to manage potential allergens such as peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
- Ability to stand or walk a minimum of 3 hours
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Food safety certification required within 30 days of employment for Illinois applicants
- Basic knife skills a plus
Job Duties
- Work multiple stations including load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, front as directed by a Shift Leader or Manager
- Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety
- Restock food line, chips and cooler
- Prepare quality finished products such as sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream efficiently
- Use the automatic slicer to prep food items if 18 or older
- Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils
- take out trash
- Operate cash register, handle, balance and follow all cash handling procedures
- Effectively handle customer complaints and issues
- Take delivery, catering, and pickup orders over the phone
- Perform other duties as assigned
