Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a fast-food or food service environment is advantageous
  • Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge
  • Ability to follow health and safety guidelines closely
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment efficiently

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve quality fast-service foods at various kitchen stations including broiler, sandwich prep board, fry station, specialty sandwich board, and expeditor
  • Transport food items between storage and preparation areas
  • Assemble sandwiches by applying condiments, cheese, and garnishes according to orders
  • Operate fryer to cook items like french fries, onion rings, and chicken tenders
  • Monitor cooking times and holding times of foods to ensure quality and discard expired items
  • Assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness including washing trays, pans, wiping surfaces, mopping floors, and sanitizing equipment
  • Turn off and dismantle cooking equipment during closing shifts, and perform deep cleaning tasks such as cleaning hoods, ventilators, and filtering fryer oil
  • Communicate shortages and assist in food inventory management
