Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • current student or high school diploma or GED preferred

Job Duties

  • Maintain a fast speed of service
  • resolve questions and concerns of guests
  • follow all safety and security procedures
  • follow the DHC Training Program to learn new skills and responsibilities
  • communicate with immediate supervisor for additional training
  • greet guests, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a positive attitude
  • work with co-workers to prepare menu items following cooking and sanitary guidelines
  • use kitchen machinery such as ice cream dispensers, fryers, and warmers
  • ensure restaurant cleanliness by clearing tables, sweeping, mopping, washing and sanitizing utensils and high touch areas, and servicing restrooms
  • handle guests' concerns professionally to resolve problems
  • maintain neat appearance by adhering to uniform policy
  • understand and meet performance expectations
  • abide by management rules and directions
