Job Description

The job opportunity is offered by an independently operated restaurant franchise of Jack in the Box, a well-established fast-food chain recognized for serving quality and tasty food in a clean and welcoming environment. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Ability to stand and walk approximately 90-95 percent of shift
  • Ability to lift and carry 15-25 lbs
  • Ability to listen to guest orders and operate a cash register
  • Ability to read video monitors
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Availability to work varied shifts including busy periods
  • Willingness to follow restaurant policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Guest service or food preparation experience helpful
  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Ability to understand and communicate clearly in English
  • Ability to read, understand English, and perform basic math
  • Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards preferred

Job Duties

  • Deliver excellent guest service by greeting and assisting guests promptly
  • Prepare and assemble food items following quality and safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of interior and exterior restaurant areas
  • Operate POS system to accurately take orders and handle transactions
  • Follow food safety and hygiene procedures including hand washing and use of gloves
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and problem resolution
  • Receive, store, and rotate food products following safety guidelines
