The job opportunity is offered by an independently operated restaurant franchise of Jack in the Box, a well-established fast-food chain recognized for serving quality and tasty food in a clean and welcoming environment. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to stand and walk approximately 90-95 percent of shift
- Ability to lift and carry 15-25 lbs
- Ability to listen to guest orders and operate a cash register
- Ability to read video monitors
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Availability to work varied shifts including busy periods
- Willingness to follow restaurant policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Guest service or food preparation experience helpful
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to understand and communicate clearly in English
- Ability to read, understand English, and perform basic math
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards preferred
Job Duties
- Deliver excellent guest service by greeting and assisting guests promptly
- Prepare and assemble food items following quality and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of interior and exterior restaurant areas
- Operate POS system to accurately take orders and handle transactions
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures including hand washing and use of gloves
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and problem resolution
- Receive, store, and rotate food products following safety guidelines
