Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays, and weekends
- Physical ability to perform tasks including seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, bending, and moving intermittently for 4 to 8 hours
- Willingness to follow all cash handling policies and procedures
- Ability to float between barista and guest service roles
- Ability to take ownership and demonstrate a positive attitude
- Willingness to ask for help when needed
- Ability to maintain cleanliness, sanitization, and organization standards
Job Qualifications

- Restaurant, retail, or guest service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the position including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organizational standards
Job Duties
- Provide incredible guest service by developing personal ongoing relationships with guests
- Practice active listening and connection with guests
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively solve guest opportunities through product knowledge and hospitality
- Make enthusiastic and knowledgeable recommendations to delight guests
- Create day-making experiences that spark a chain reaction of good
- Hand-craft beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures
- Heat, prepare, and serve Caribou food offerings according to standard operating procedures
- Float between barista and guest service roles while fulfilling all team member responsibilities
- Take guest orders and manage cash drawer following all cash handling policies and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitization, and organization standards of the store
- Anticipate team and guest needs and act proactively
- Differentiate between problems solvable independently and those requiring leader support
- Take direction willingly from leaders while managing multiple priorities
- Embody and bring to life Caribou’s core values
- Bring joy and energy to interactions with guests and team members
- Support team members and guests with enthusiasm and care
- Maintain a learner's mentality and a desire for continuous improvement
