Job Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 3 hours or as needed
- ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- must meet and maintain all eligibility requirements
- Illinois applicants must obtain food safety certification within 30 days of employment
- willing to work flexible schedules
- able to work in a noisy environment with music and customer traffic
- capable of working multiple job stations and tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service or customer service is a plus
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- basic knife skills are a plus
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation recommended
- friendly and customer service oriented
- ability to handle potential food allergens such as peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish
Job Duties
- Work multiple stations including load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, and front as directed
- comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness, and safety
- restock food lines, chips, and coolers
- prepare quality finished products such as sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, and ice cream efficiently
- use automatic slicer to prep food items if 18 or older
- clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils, and take out trash
- operate cash register including handling, balancing, and following cash handling procedures
- effectively handle customer complaints and issues
- take delivery, catering, and pickup orders over the phone
- perform other duties as assigned
