Job Description
This job opportunity is offered by an independent franchisee operating a Del Taco restaurant. It is important to note that this position is not directly employed by Del Taco LLC, but rather the independent franchisee who owns and manages the restaurant. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to travel to assigned restaurant location
- Ability to stand and walk for approximately 95-100 percent of shift
- Ability to bend, reach, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food handler certification may be required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with effective follow-through
- Basic business math skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Duties
- Deliver effective results in quality, guest service, safety, security, cleanliness and product preparation
- Exhibit a cheerful and helpful manner
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain them to guests accurately
- Use point of sale system/cash register to record orders, compute order amounts and collect payment
- Adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards
- Follow all company operation policies and procedures
- Make recommendations to enhance restaurant operations
- Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards
- Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image
