Job Requirements

  • Less than high school education
  • up to one-month related experience or training
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • knowledge of order processing systems
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, sit occasionally, climb or balance
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • adherence to safety procedures
  • ability to follow instructions and management direction
  • punctuality and dependability

Job Duties

  • Request customer order and use POS machine to record order and compute bill simultaneously either at front counter or drive-through location
  • select requested food items from serving or storage areas and assemble items on serving tray or in takeout bag
  • notify kitchen personnel of shortages or special orders
  • serve hot or cold food, hot or cold beverages, frozen milk drinks, or desserts
  • receive payment
  • cook or perform other duties to prepare food, serve customers, or maintain orderly and clean eating or serving areas
  • demonstrate a friendly and cooperative manner when dealing with every customer
