Job Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Ability to stand or walk for a minimum of 3 hours or as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to handle potential allergens including peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
  • Strong communication skills
  • Food safety certification required for Illinois employees within 30 days of employment
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment with music, customer and employee traffic
  • Friendly and customer-focused demeanor

Job Duties

  • Work multiple stations as directed by a shift leader or manager
  • Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety
  • Restock food line, chips and cooler
  • Prepare quality finished products efficiently including sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies and ice cream
  • Use the automatic slicer to prep food items if 18 or older
  • Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils
  • Operate cash register and follow all cash handling procedures
  • Effectively handle customer complaints and issues
  • Take delivery, catering and pickup orders over the phone
  • Perform other duties as assigned
