Job Duties
- Works at various stations to prepare and serve quality fast-service foods
- transports hamburger and whopper patties and buns for broiler cooking
- places sandwich patties and buns on conveyor for broiling
- removes cooked sandwiches and holds them to maintain heat until final preparation
- listens to orders to prepare sandwiches with condiments and garnishes
- wraps finished sandwiches and marks for identification
- checks cooking oil levels and manages fryer vats
- prepares and cooks food items such as fries, onion rings, and hash browns
- transmits food from storage to workstation
- toasts buns and prepares specialty sandwiches
- heats desserts and sandwiches
- assists with order assembly and expediting
- monitors holding times and discards food when necessary
- maintains kitchen cleanliness by washing and sanitizing equipment
- cleans kitchen surfaces and floors
- filters and disposes of oil
- dismantles and sanitizes cooking equipment
- cleans kitchen hoods and ventilators
- rolls filter pump to fryer and activates oil filtration
- scrubs and hot-hoses kitchen floors
