Job Requirements

  • minimum age of 16 years
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
  • capacity to stand or walk for at least 3 hours
  • ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
  • communication skills
  • willingness to complete food safety certification for Illinois employees within 30 days
  • ability to manage allergens
  • availability to perform multiple station duties
  • pass all eligibility requirements if hired

Job Duties

  • work multiple stations such as load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, and front as directed by a shift leader or manager
  • comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness, and safety
  • restock food line, chips, and cooler
  • prepare quality finished products including sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, and ice cream efficiently
  • use the automatic slicer to prep food items if 18 or older
  • clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen, and utensils
  • take out trash
  • operate cash register and handle, balance, and follow all cash handling procedures
  • effectively handle customer complaints and issues
  • take delivery, catering, and pickup orders over the phone
  • perform other duties as assigned
