Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in fast-service food preparation preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to understand and follow food safety protocols
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation according to health standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve quality fast-service foods at various stations including broiler, sandwich prep board, fry station, specialty sandwich board, and expeditor
  • Transport and handle food items such as hamburger patties, buns, and frozen goods
  • Assemble sandwiches with appropriate condiments and toppings based on orders
  • Operate fryers, manage cooking oil levels, and cook fries, onion rings, and other fried foods
  • Assist in order assembly by gathering prepared foods and packaging for customers
  • Monitor holding time of cooked and prepared foods and discard when necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and surfaces, including washing trays and mopping floors
  • Perform closing duties including dismantling and sanitizing cooking equipment, cleaning hoods and ventilators, filtering and disposing of cooking oil
  • Climb stepladders to clean kitchen hoods and ventilators and operate manual cleaning equipment
