Job Requirements

  • must be at least 16 years of age
  • ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends
  • ability to see, hear, speak, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, sit, stand for 4 to 8 hours, bend and move intermittently during working hours with or without reasonable accommodations
  • willingness to follow cleanliness, sanitization, and organizational standards
  • ability to take direction from leaders and work as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • must be at least 16 years of age

  • basic math and cash handling skills

Job Duties

  • provide incredible guest service by developing personal ongoing relationships with guests
  • practice active listening and connection
  • anticipate guest needs and proactively solve guest opportunities by demonstrating product knowledge and hospitality
  • make enthusiastic and knowledgeable recommendations to delight guests
  • create day making experiences that spark a chain reaction of good
  • hand-craft beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures
  • heat, prepare, and serve Caribou food offerings to standard operating procedures
  • float between barista and guest service, and willingly fulfill all team member roles and responsibilities
  • take guest orders and manage cash drawer following all cash handling policies and procedures
  • maintain the look and feel of a well-run store by following cleanliness, sanitization and organization standards
  • actively think and act upon what the team and guest will need in the future
  • differentiate between problems that can be solved directly and when to ask for leader support
  • understand that the team is managing multiple priorities and willingly take direction from leaders
  • bring the core values to life in all actions
  • bring joy to opportunities to interact with others and make fun happen
