Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous fast food or food service experience advantageous
- Ability to follow detailed food safety and preparation procedures
- Good communication skills to listen to orders and communicate with team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
Job Duties
- Transport boxes of hamburger and whopper patties and buns from storage area to broiler
- Place sandwich patty and bun on conveyor to be taken through broiler
- Remove from end of conveyor using tongs and place in PHU to maintain heat until final preparation
- Listen to orders called to determine type of sandwich to be made
- Apply condiments, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions according to order
- Wrap or place finished sandwich in serving box marking type and extras
- Check level of cooking oil and adjust shortening
- Prepare baskets of french fries for busy times
- Place food in fryer basket, lower into vat, press timer and remove when done
- Transport food from storage freezer/refrigerator to work station
- Prepare ham and cheese, chicken, ocean catch sandwiches, chicken tenders and hot dessert pies
- Toast buns and prepare sandwich with condiments
- Heat dessert pies and sandwiches in microwave
- Assist in food preparation and assemble orders for customers
- Review order and gather prepared foods
- Place order on tray or in take-out bags
- Notify food handlers of shortages
- Serve shakes and place condiments, napkins and straws with orders
- Monitor holding time of cooked foods and discard when expired
- Maintain order and cleanliness of kitchen
- Wash trays, pans, racks and equipment
- Break down and clean kitchen equipment
- Wipe surfaces and mop floor
- Turn off, dismantle and sanitize cooking equipment
- Climb stepladder to clean hoods and ventilators
- Roll filter pump to fryer, attach hoses and activate pump
- Empty oil and clean vats
- Scrub and hot-hose floors
