Job Requirements

at least 16 years of age
food safety certified within 30 days of employment if working in Illinois
desire to delight customers with great food and good vibes
ability to work in a busy, noisy environment
able to maintain eligibility requirements to qualify
able to handle the physical demands of the job
able to manage potential allergens

Job Qualifications

friendly and customer service oriented
strong written and verbal communication skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
team player
able to handle potential allergens including peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
able to stand or walk a minimum of 3 hours or as needed
able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally

Job Duties

work multiple stations (load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, front) as directed by a shift leader or manager
comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety
restock food line, chips and cooler
prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream, etc.) efficiently
if 18 or older, use of the automatic slicer to prep food items
clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils
take out trash
operate cash register: handle, balance and follow all cash handling procedures
effectively handle customer complaints/issues
take delivery/catering/pickup orders over the phone
other duties as assigned
