This job opportunity is with an independently owned and operated restaurant franchisee associated with Del Taco, a well-known fast-food chain. Unlike corporate-owned locations, this restaurant is operated independently, meaning the franchisee is responsible for all employment-related aspects including hiring, wages, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to travel to assigned restaurant location
- Ability to stand and walk for 95-100 percent of shift
- Ability to bend reach lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Commitment to provide quality customer service
- Ability to follow all safety and sanitation standards
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- General knowledge of computers and POS systems
- Ability to work productively as part of a team
- Ability to understand and follow operational procedures
- Food Handler certification may be required
Job Duties
- Deliver effective results in quality service safety security cleanliness and product preparation
- Exhibit a cheerful and helpful manner
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and explain to guests accurately
- Use Point of Sale system to record orders compute amounts and collect payments
- Adhere to proper food handling safety and sanitation standards
- Follow Company operation policies and procedures
- Make recommendations to enhance restaurant operations
- Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards
- Clean and maintain all restaurant areas to promote a clean image
