This job opportunity is with an independently owned and operated restaurant franchisee associated with Del Taco, a well-known fast-food chain. Unlike corporate-owned locations, this restaurant is operated independently, meaning the franchisee is responsible for all employment-related aspects including hiring, wages, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. Job Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age
Ability to travel to assigned restaurant location
Ability to stand and walk for 95-100 percent of shift
Ability to bend reach lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Commitment to provide quality customer service
Ability to follow all safety and sanitation standards
Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Basic math and cash handling skills
General knowledge of computers and POS systems
Ability to work productively as part of a team
Ability to understand and follow operational procedures
Food Handler certification may be required

Job Duties

Deliver effective results in quality service safety security cleanliness and product preparation
Exhibit a cheerful and helpful manner
Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and explain to guests accurately
Use Point of Sale system to record orders compute amounts and collect payments
Adhere to proper food handling safety and sanitation standards
Follow Company operation policies and procedures
Make recommendations to enhance restaurant operations
Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards
Clean and maintain all restaurant areas to promote a clean image
