Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends
  • physical ability to see, hear, speak, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, sit, stand for 4 to 8 hours, bend, and move intermittently during work hours
  • willingness to work flexible shifts
  • ability to follow cash handling policies
  • ability to work as part of a team and take direction from leaders
  • willingness to ask for help when needed

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 16 years
  • ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends
  • preferred experience in restaurant, retail, or guest service
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain professionalism and positive attitude under pressure
  • willingness to learn and adapt quickly
  • basic math skills for cash handling
  • capability to follow standard operating procedures accurately

Job Duties

  • Provide incredible guest service by developing personal ongoing relationships with guests
  • practice active listening and connection
  • anticipate guest needs and proactively solve guest opportunities by demonstrating product knowledge and hospitality
  • make enthusiastic and knowledgeable recommendations to delight guests
  • create day making experiences that spark a chain reaction of good
  • handcraft beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures
  • heat, prepare, and serve Caribou food offerings to Caribou standard operating procedures
  • float between barista and guest service, and willingly fulfill all team member roles and responsibilities
  • take guest orders and manage cash drawer following all cash handling policies and procedures
  • maintain the look and feel of a well-run store by following cleanliness, sanitization, and organization standards
  • actively think and act upon what the team and guest will need in the future
  • differentiate between problems that can be solved directly and when to ask for leader support
  • understand that the team is managing multiple priorities and willingly take direction from leaders
  • bring the core values to life in all that you do including support one another, make fun happen, be yourself, take ownership, and serve with love
