Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 16 years
- Ability to stand or walk for a minimum of 3 hours or as needed
- Able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Illinois applicants must become food safety certified within 30 days of employment
- Ability to work in a noisy environment with music and customer traffic
- Must meet and maintain all eligibility requirements to qualify
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly and customer service oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player mindset
- Basic knife skills preferred
- Ability to manage potential allergens including peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
Job Duties
- Work multiple stations including load, dress, shakes, cash, prep and front as directed by a Shift Leader or Manager
- Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety
- Restock food line, chips and cooler
- Prepare quality finished products such as sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream efficiently
- Use the automatic slicer to prep food items if 18 or older
- Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils
- take out trash
- Operate cash register and handle cash according to procedures
- Effectively handle customer complaints and issues
- Take delivery, catering and pickup orders over the phone
- Perform other duties as assigned
