Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve fast-service foods
  • handle customer requests as cashier or order taker
  • monitor holding times of cooked and prepared foods
  • assist in maintaining order and cleanliness of the kitchen
  • wash trays, pans, racks and kitchen equipment by hand
  • clean walls, tables, seating, mop floors and clean restrooms
  • pick up trash in parking lot and conduct housekeeping duties
  • dismantle cooking equipment, sanitize and clean equipment
  • remove and clean hood filters using a stepladder
  • empty fry vats of hot oil for filtering or proper disposal
  • scrub and degrease floors
