Job Requirements
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high energy, and physically demanding environment
- Must be able to spend 90% of work time standing
- Must be able to spend 10% of work time sitting
- Must use all sensory capabilities such as vision, hearing, taste, smell, touch, and speech
- Must use physical capabilities such as walking, bending, kneeling, manipulating objects, hand flexibility, stretching, squatting, crawling, lifting, climbing, and stooping
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry loads over 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to communicate clearly with guests and team members in the primary language of the restaurant (mainly English)
- Must be able to hear with 100% accuracy with correction
- Must be able to see with 20/20 vision with correction
- Reliable transportation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the food service industry
- Supervisory experience is a plus but not required
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Retail experience
Job Duties
- Provide supervision during assigned shifts
- Create a positive experience and environment for team members and guests
- Manage FOH and BOH shift responsibilities including staff scheduling to minimize overtime and achieve daily labor controls and costs as assigned by management
- Oversee service speed to ensure a positive guest experience
- Handle guest comments and complaints
- Supervise daily shifts to maintain McAlister's standards, product quality, and cleanliness
- Assist in ongoing training of team members including new hires and existing staff to ensure procedures and processes are followed
- Enforce policies and uniform standards
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Open and close the restaurant in absence of senior management
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
