Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in ocean export operations
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Familiarity with export regulations and customs clearance procedures
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Fluency in English language
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in ocean export operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in computer software programs related to logistics and supply chain management
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience with logistics software and systems
- Fluency in English
- Preferred qualifications include experience with ocean cargo logistics software and systems, familiarity with ocean freight regulations, customs requirements, export controls, and knowledge of shipping routes and schedules
Job Duties
- Manage and lead a team of export professionals
- Develop and implement export processes and procedures
- Ensure that export processes are executed in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as logistics and customer service, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Maintain relationships with customers and partners
- Analyze market trends and identify areas for process improvement
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws
- Manage and oversee documentation for export shipments
- Develop and implement training programs for the export team
