Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members
- Physical stamina to stand and move for prolonged periods
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Clearing, wiping, and cleaning tables on patio and main dining room as well as communal and bar tables
- Anticipate guest needs and ensure proper silverware, share plates and condiments
- Adhere to Forbes service standards by serving from the left and clearing from the right
- Assist servers delivering drinks to tables using guest names
- Maintain general housekeeping including cleaning fixtures, appliances, counters, dusting, and sweeping
- Keep tables and stations clean, tidy, and orderly
- Restock ice for server stations, bar ice wells, and ice carts
- Restock bar glassware and empty bar recycling and trash bins
- Refill server side stations and patio with water bottles
- Sweep and mop main dining room and patio floors
- Brew coffee and iced tea as needed for guests
- Ensure side stations have adequate roll ups, plates, sanitizer buckets and water glasses
- Use tray to buss dishes and glasses
- Complete tasks directed by Manager or Supervisor
- Check and maintain stock of plates on pizza oven and hot line
- Carry trays of dirty dishes to dishwasher, unload and rack properly
- Assist taking down linen bags, recycle and trash to loading dock
- Run food items from kitchen, oven and pantry to guests
- Assist Host with seating, greeting and thanking guests
- Set up and break down communal events including moving furniture and replacing propane tanks
- Assist Servers with roll ups and side work
- Answer telephone, take reservations and provide directions to restaurant
- Retrieve and break down supplies in storeroom
- Greet tables, offer to light fire pits and offer beverages
- Possess menu knowledge to take orders as needed
- Retrieve wine from wine room
- Monitor alcohol consumption and alert manager of intoxicated guests
- Suggestive selling to increase guest check
- Prepare guest checks, process payments
- Resolve guest problems and communicate with manager
- Comply with company safety, health and general policies and procedures
