Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of direct experience in assembly operations
  • ability to see details at close range

  • dexterous finger movements

  • ability to use hand tools including torque drivers
  • familiarity with email software
  • knowledge of ERP software
  • ability to work indoors in a controlled manufacturing environment

  • performance of repetitive motions
  • ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of direct experience in electronic, electromechanical, or mechanical assembly
  • ability to understand and apply information conveyed in written and oral formats
  • strong communication skills for conveying information clearly
  • near vision capabilities for close-range detail work
  • visual color discrimination skills
  • finger dexterity for handling small components
  • problem sensitivity to recognize and report issues
  • customer service orientation to respond to customer needs
  • selective attention to maintain focus over time
  • proficiency with hand tools including torque drivers
  • experience with electronic mail software
  • familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software

Job Duties

  • perform basic electronic, electromechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies, or subassemblies
  • perform repetitive duties in a single piece flow mixed model cell
  • follow methods and sequence of operations in performing component installation and fitting on assembly units
  • make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to work instructions
  • perform basic functional tests such as hi-pot and continuity tests
  • work on other cells to perform basic assembly tasks as needed
