Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in cooking or food preparation preferred
  • Knowledge of food health and safety procedures
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens and fryers
  • Ability to follow recipes and measure ingredients accurately
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is an asset
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to operate grills, ovens and fryers

Job Duties

  • Practice, support and promote company-wide culture
  • Demonstrate service standards at all times
  • Set up, clean up and organize work stations
  • Prepare, weight, measure and mix ingredients for shift
  • Wash vegetables, chop and season meats
  • Ensure kitchen area, ovens, food equipment, utensils and grills are cleaned and ready for use
  • Cook orders according to food and health safety standards
  • Handle and serve multiple food orders at one time
  • Deliver food order to team members in a timely manner
  • Store all food properly per hierarchy and policy
  • Sanitize and clean work stations and utensils
  • Assist other cooks in preparing food
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines
