Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid North Carolina CTE Teaching License in Culinary Arts
  • Minimum of two years teaching experience or relevant culinary industry experience
  • Ability to work full-time over a 10-month term
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Compliance with district policies and procedures

  • Valid North Carolina teaching license in Career and Technical Education with a focus on Culinary Arts
  • Demonstrated experience in culinary arts instruction or relevant industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary techniques

Job Duties

  • Develop and deliver culinary arts curriculum that meets state and district standards
  • Create engaging hands-on culinary learning experiences for students
  • Assess and monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with school staff and administrators to support student learning
  • Promote food safety and proper kitchen management practices
  • Guide students in understanding nutrition and culinary techniques
  • Stay updated with current trends and technologies in culinary arts education
