Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- must obtain and hold a Food Handler's card within 60 days of hire
- flexible to work all venues in a similar position
- able to work days, swing, grave, weekends, and holidays
- pass a background investigation for Tribal Gaming License or Permit
- successful employment history with Tulalip Tribes or other employers
- knowledge of HACCP
- knowledge of health codes and liquor laws
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- minimum two years experience as a line cook in a full-service dinner restaurant
- at least one year experience grilling, broiling, steaming, and sautéing foods
- at least one year cooking seafood and breakfast or fry cook items
- knowledge of HACCP standards
- understanding of health codes and liquor laws
- ability to pass a background check for Tribal Gaming License
- successful employment history
Job Duties
- Maintain the highest level of culinary standards as set by management
- prepare stocks, sauces, and soups
- sauté, pan-fry, poach, steam, roast, grill, simmer, and braise various foods
- properly prep and cook meats, poultry, fish, and seafood
- work flexibly across all venues when required
- comply with health and safety and liquor laws
- collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
