Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- must possess a Food Handler's card or obtain within 60 days from date of hire
- must have knowledge of HACCP - Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point
- knowledgeable of health codes and liquor laws
- must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit
- must be able to work any shift assigned including days, swing, grave, weekends, and/or holidays
- must have a successful employment history with Tulalip Tribes and/or other employers
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- minimum of two years experience cooking in a high volume batch cooking kitchen
- minimum of one year experience cooking seafood, breakfast, and fry cook menu items
- minimum of one year experience grilling, broiling, sautéing, roasting, braising, and steaming foods
- prior experience in re-thermal procedures preferred
- knowledge of HACCP principles
- familiarity with health codes and liquor laws
Job Duties
- Prepare meals in accordance with the Banquet Event Order
- perform basic cooking procedures
- carry out prep work
- sauté, broil, pan fry, and deep fry cooking
- poach, steam, braise, roast, and bake foods
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
