- One year of prior multi-line reception or dispatching experience preferred
- ability to operate modern routing software

Job Duties
- Coordinate and manage the efficient flow of taxis and drivers
- receive calls, determine suitable taxi availability, and direct taxis to customer locations
- communicate with dispatch staff to arrange for taxis to be dispatched immediately or at a specified time
- manage dispatching operations such as making sure vehicles have gas and oil
- track taxi activity to ensure vehicles are dispatched in accordance with local laws and regulations
- coordinate with taxi companies to provide service to special events and conventions
- maintain communication with taxi drivers to ensure prompt arrival
- track driver activity to ensure efficient routes and compliance with traffic laws
- use modern routing software to develop, alter, and optimize delivery routes
- effectively communicate and serve as liaison between drivers and customers
- remain agile to handle sudden route changes or delivery issues
