Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 5+ years of corporate tax experience
- Solid understanding of real estate tax technical and transactional skills including partnership taxation, REIT taxation and qualification, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring
- Licensed CPA in state of practice or licensed attorney or enrolled agent or CFA or CFP
- Strong managerial experience with budgets, people, and projects
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within hybrid work model
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Job Qualifications

- Solid understanding of real estate tax technical and transactional skills including partnership taxation, REIT taxation and qualification, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring
- Experience with federal tax compliance, federal tax accounting and provisions, tax analysis, and tax research
- Strong managerial experience with budgets, people, and projects
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Licensed CPA in state of practice or licensed attorney or enrolled agent or CFA or CFP
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within hybrid work model
Job Duties
- Assist clients with life events for partnerships including formations, mergers, and initial public offerings
- Compute inside and outside basis, section 704(c) and section 743(b) adjustments, and process Schedule K-1s
- Use proprietary technologies to streamline clients' tax compliance processes and ensure worldwide compliance
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships on federal tax consulting and compliance engagements in real estate
- Advise clients on tax issues such as REIT qualification, tax reform impact on passthroughs, business restructuring, and tax controversy
- Oversee complex federal tax compliance and consulting projects using technology and data analytics
- Manage engagement workflow, team resources, and billing
- Mentor and develop junior staff, including those in U.S. India office, providing leadership and career guidance
