Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of previous experience in a high volume restaurant preferred
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Ability to apply common sense reasoning
  • Basic computer skills preferred
  • Ability to communicate occupational-based English both written and verbal
  • Verified right to work in the United States
  • Obtain and maintain all required work cards including alcohol awareness
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 30 lbs at various heights
  • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, squatting, kneeling, and balancing
  • Constant standing and walking
  • Use of hearing and vision including color discrimination
  • Must maintain professional grooming and appearance
  • Must follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Must be polite and poised with guests at all times

Job Qualifications

  • One year of previous experience in a high volume restaurant preferred
  • Previous experience working in a team or group environment
  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents
  • Basic computer skills preferred

Job Duties

  • Take and fill food and drink orders
  • Assist in keeping the dining area neat and clean
  • Maintain current knowledge of the menu and key ingredients
  • Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions
  • Maintain knowledge of POS operations
  • Display friendly hospitality and provide great relations with staff and guests
  • Maintain knowledge of the sequence of service and follow it at all times
  • Assist other servers to ensure the best possible service
  • Maintain designated station by checking for proper table settings and cleanliness
  • Follow safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction rules
  • Maintain professional grooming and act as a role model
  • Remain polite and poised with guests
  • Ensure proper age verification for guests
  • Maintain cleanliness of the tavern and restrooms
  • Meet company and health department sanitation requirements
  • Provide outstanding customer service timely to guests and team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned
