Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years hospitality or bar management experience
- At least 3 years craft cocktail experience in busy environments
- Strong customer service background
- Problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in computers and MS Office
- Willingness to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- 5+ years hospitality or bar management experience required
- 3+ years craft cocktail experience in a high-volume setting
- High level of customer service experience
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer and MS Office skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the TX Tavern
- Oversee mixology, cocktail innovation and batching for all events
- Manage bar team including hiring, training, payroll and scheduling of part-time bartenders
- Utilize point-of-sale and bar management platforms to ensure high service levels
- Assist in care of TX VIP members with superior service and cocktail menus
- Manage inventory, order supplies and control cocktail costs
- Track customer behavior and sales for budgeting, cost analysis and trend forecasting
- Perform daily, monthly and annual budget, sales and cash reconciliation
- Assist in tour tastings, script formation and employee training on offerings
- Lead external cocktail classes, tasting tables and TX experience offerings
- Ensure consistent customer satisfaction with product and company knowledge
- Provide detailed distillery tours for guests and clients
- Ensure health code permits and TABC certifications are current
- Maintain clean, safe and responsible service
- Act as Manager on Duty for TX branded experiences including guest check-in and retail sales
- Collaborate on VIP Membership programs, reserved seating and event activations
