Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a winery, tasting room, upscale restaurant, or craft bar is highly preferred
  • Valid RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certification or ability to obtain
  • California Food Handler's Certificate or ability to obtain
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a winery, tasting room, upscale restaurant, or craft bar is highly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service
  • Eagerness to learn about wine and craft beer
  • Valid RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certification or ability to obtain
  • California Food Handler's Certificate or ability to obtain
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome all guests with genuine enthusiasm
  • Present menus and expertly guide guests through our wine and beer selections
  • Conduct informative and engaging wine tastings, sharing the stories behind our vineyards and winemaking process
  • Take guest orders accurately and efficiently process payments using our POS system
  • Serve beverages, ensuring presentation meets our high standards
  • Act as a brand ambassador, confidently answering questions
  • Maintain the pristine cleanliness and organization of the tasting room, bar service area, and patio areas, including polishing glassware and restocking supplies
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown for private events as needed
  • Uphold all ABC regulations and responsible beverage service standards
  • Other duties as assigned
