Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in culinary leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to travel to various locations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Capacity to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle kitchen equipment safely

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an executive chef sous chef or similar leadership role
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on quality presentation and flavor
  • Excellent leadership communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work effectively under pressure
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Flexibility to travel and work in various locations as needed

Job Duties

  • Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation cooking and presentation
  • Ensure consistency in food quality taste and presentation aligning with brand standards
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Assist in creating innovative menus and recipes tailored to the property’s needs
  • Implement seasonal and special event menus as required
  • Manage food and labor costs adhering to budgetary guidelines
  • Monitor inventory levels placing orders and minimizing waste
  • Enforce all health and safety regulations ensuring the kitchen meets local health department standards
