Job Requirements
- 2 years or more of finance career progression
- Experience supervising/directing staff members
- Technical proficiency in Oracle and Hyperion
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English
- Adaptable to the time zone of the property
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality, Business or related field preferred
- Ability to work remotely with high speed internet service
- Must adhere to IT requirements including broadband internet
- Certification of internet service may be required

- Computer skills in Office, Oracle, Hyperion, Opera, iCaps, ARCs, BirchStreet, Kronos
Job Duties
- Prepare and review all journal entries, month-end reports, and reconciliations
- Review preliminary financial statements with Director of Finance
- Participate in monthly financial reviews and support Director of Finance with the presentation of these reports
- Supervise Finance and Procurement staff and the Information Technology functions of the hotel including coaching and counseling associates to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedures, interviewing, training, and evaluating performance of staff
- Manage and help oversee hotel on and off-site accounting functions to ensure proper fiscal management, timely and accurate reporting, and analysis for the hotel
- Systems administration, G/L account reconciliations, budget preparations, inventories, monthly closings, and full P&L responsibility
- Assist with managing and ensuring SOX compliance- monitor internal controls and implement corrective measures as needed
