Job Requirements
- Minimum five years related experience or training
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of hotel management and business principles
- Understanding of OSHA and safety management
- Familiarity with employment laws
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and with a team
- Ability to handle guest and associate issues
- Multitasking and prioritization skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel management software
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Ability to work outside regular business hours
Job Qualifications
- Minimum five years related experience and/or training

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of hotel management and general business principles
- Familiarity with safety management including OSHA regulations

- Ability to manage and resolve difficult guest and associate situations
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and franchise property management systems
- Ability to maintain professionalism, accuracy, and detail in all situations
Job Duties
- Fulfill the role of a hotel General Manager during vacancy periods or times of need
- Provide leadership to assigned hotel or project while projecting a professional and ethical image
- Implement and maintain company and brand standards and expectations
- Direct management and associates to ensure strong performance in revenue generation, service quality, and guest satisfaction
- Handle guest and associate issues in coordination with senior management and HR
- Manage scheduling, labor, payroll, and compliance with company labor policies
- Participate actively in revenue management, pricing strategies, cleanliness, service, local sales, and marketing efforts
- Manage ordering and receiving of operating supplies
- Oversee accounts receivable and collection efforts
- Ensure emergency, security, and life-safety procedures compliance
- Communicate regularly with senior management on progress and challenges
- Assist in the professional development of managers and associates
- Perform hands-on involvement in hotel operations
- Complete other duties as assigned
