Job Requirements
- 6 years progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- 4 year college degree with 4 to 5 years related experience or 2 year college degree with 5 to 6 years related experience
- Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally
- Warm and friendly demeanor
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Attend all required meetings and trainings
- Participation in M.O.D. coverage

Job Qualifications
- At least 6 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- or a 4-year college degree with 4 to 5 years of related experience
- or a 2-year college degree with 5 to 6 years of related experience

- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex information
- Warm and friendly demeanor with all employees and guests
- Experience in multi-brand hotel management
- Compliance with safety and operational standards
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Effective listener and communicator
- Participation in M.O.D. coverage
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Attend all required hotel meetings and trainings

Job Duties
- Tour operating departments daily and coordinate adjustments with department heads
- Conduct weekly staff meetings and training sessions following Highgate Hotel standards
- Meet financial review dates and implement corporate programs timely
- Hold monthly financial reviews with department managers and supervisors
- Ensure department heads maintain budgeted productivity and standardized accounting procedures
- Develop managers for future advancement through competency and corporate training
- Collaborate with Director of Sales on daily meetings and sales activities
- Lead hotel sales efforts including client meetings and receptions
- Participate in scheduled M.O.D. coverage
- Monitor management trainee development
- Adhere to and train new managers on Highgate Hotel policies and procedures
- Assist in budget process and financial forecasting
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and property with housekeeping and engineering staff
- Ensure daily invoice processing and monthly financial reporting compliance
- Oversee cleanliness and maintenance through inspections and preventive programs
- Promote attentive, friendly, courteous, and efficient employee interactions with guests
- Prepare and manage hiring interviews and ensure compliance with hiring standards
- Administer performance appraisals and disciplinary actions following corporate SOPs
- Meet clients and assist in sales efforts onsite
- Manage hotel safe security and monthly audits
- Lead monthly credit meetings and enforce credit and collection policies
- Complete corporate training modules and certifications
- Ensure all scheduled meetings occur on property
- Perform other duties as requested by Vice President or Regional Director of Operations
