Job Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 100% nationally
- Experience in extended-stay hotel management or similar hospitality environments
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to analyze financial documents such as Profit & Loss statements
- Capability to manage inventories and procurement processes
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to sit, stand, talk, and hear frequently
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hands-on hotel general manager experience
- Proven team development and leadership skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Reliable transportation
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Multilingual skills are a plus
- Local candidates strongly preferred
Job Duties
- Provide leadership and development by selecting, training, counseling, and motivation a small team of 6-8 employees, including willingness to step in and assist team members as needed
- Promote and deliver exceptional guest services, including monitoring cleanliness and resolving guest concerns promptly
- Develop, administer, and control property revenue and budget expenses
- Manage monthly inventories, ordering, and receiving goods
- Analyze Profit & Loss and General Ledger statements, submit P&L Variance Reports in a timely manner
- Facilitate sales and marketing efforts to achieve revenue and maximum profitability through knowledge of hotel and surrounding areas
- Develop and maintain rapport with competitive properties, city conventions, visitors bureau, chamber of commerce, target accounts, lead sources, and clients
- Perform other duties as assigned
