Job Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 100% nationally
  • Experience in extended-stay hotel management or similar hospitality environments
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to analyze financial documents such as Profit & Loss statements
  • Capability to manage inventories and procurement processes
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, talk, and hear frequently
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year hands-on hotel general manager experience
  • Proven team development and leadership skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Reliable transportation
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Multilingual skills are a plus
  • Local candidates strongly preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership and development by selecting, training, counseling, and motivation a small team of 6-8 employees, including willingness to step in and assist team members as needed
  • Promote and deliver exceptional guest services, including monitoring cleanliness and resolving guest concerns promptly
  • Develop, administer, and control property revenue and budget expenses
  • Manage monthly inventories, ordering, and receiving goods
  • Analyze Profit & Loss and General Ledger statements, submit P&L Variance Reports in a timely manner
  • Facilitate sales and marketing efforts to achieve revenue and maximum profitability through knowledge of hotel and surrounding areas
  • Develop and maintain rapport with competitive properties, city conventions, visitors bureau, chamber of commerce, target accounts, lead sources, and clients
  • Perform other duties as assigned
