Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years hands-on hotel General Manager experience
  • Proven team development and leadership skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel up to 100%
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership and development by selecting, training, counseling, and motivating a small team of 6-8 employees, including assisting team members as needed
  • Promote and deliver exceptional guest services, including monitoring cleanliness and resolving guest-related concerns promptly
  • Develop, administer, and control property revenue and budget expenses, including managing monthly inventories, ordering, and receiving goods
  • Analyze Profit & Loss and General Ledger statements, submitting P&L Variance Reports timely
  • Facilitate Sales & Marketing efforts to achieve revenue and maximize profitability through knowledge of hotel and surrounding areas
  • Develop and maintain rapport with competitive properties, city conventions, visitor bureaus, chambers of commerce, target accounts, lead sources, and clients
  • Perform other duties as assigned
