Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of property level General Manager, Hotel Manager, or Assistant General Manager experience
  • strong to expert working knowledge of ESA systems, policies, and procedures
  • strong analytical skills and understanding of financial reporting procedures
  • good standing and strong performance reviews as current General Manager or Assistant Manager

Job Qualifications

  • strong to expert working knowledge of ESA systems, policies, and procedures
  • strong analytical skills and understanding of financial reporting
  • good standing with strong performance reviews as a current General Manager or Assistant Manager
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field such as business or hospitality preferred
  • three to five years of property level experience as General Manager, AGM, or similar preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership and direction for hotels in absence of General Manager or District Manager
  • share Manager On Duty responsibilities during off-hours
  • perform daily management and sales duties to ensure optimum property operation
  • work closely with regional leadership and corporate to identify areas needing coaching and mentoring
  • promote 100 percent commitment to guest and employee experience
  • coach and support property management and associates on customer service culture
  • provide direction to maximize revenues and EBITDA
  • train and guide on operations systems including Medallia, ADP, Verian, and ESU
  • monitor financial activities including guest balances and vendor payments
  • reconcile all financial accounts
  • manage labor standards and property expenses for profitability
  • partner with local sales and revenue teams on marketing activities
  • motivate, recruit and train employees per company standards
  • manage employee personnel forms, evaluations, coaching, terminations, and payroll
  • perform duties across all hotel operations as needed
  • resolve guest-related issues in line with company goals
  • participate in inventory and ensure purchases are within budget
  • communicate policies and procedures to staff
  • inspect and document property maintenance and cleanliness
  • assist with management turnover for smooth transitions
  • conduct internal audits and property reviews
  • explore areas of concern as directed by leadership
  • ensure timely completion of property assignments and projects
  • travel 85-90 percent of the time
