Job Requirements

  • Executive chef experience at a 4-star hotel or resort for a minimum of 10 years
  • Ability to stand continuously for 8 plus hours
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities successfully
  • Strong communication skill
  • Solution oriented
  • Union management experience is a plus

  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques

Job Duties

  • Operate in a full service establishment
  • Handle all aspects of cooking including light butchering and dessert preparation
  • Manage banquet and a la carte food services
  • Monitor food inventory, ordering, and costing
  • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • Prioritize and organize tasks effectively
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
  • Understand and meet guest service needs
  • Identify and provide departmental training
  • Ensure compliance with health department rules, liquor laws, and regulations
  • Adapt to a variable schedule and shift length
