Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to work varied shifts
- Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission Alcohol Service Permit
- Oregon Food Handlers Card
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the role
- Availability to pass mandatory local Alcohol Service Permit certification within 30 days of employment
- Ability to communicate in English
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines.

Job Duties
- Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival
- Take food and beverage orders from guests
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the restaurant's standards
- Have or develop a knowledge of craft beer/micro brews and be able to recommend and explain to our guests
- Clear tables after guests leave
- Circle/check the entire dining area and clean as required
- Respond appropriately to guest requests
- Communicate guest requests to server or manager as needed
- Carry service trays and deliver food to tables/multiple tables in one trip
- Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change if needed
- Wash and sanitize glassware
- Maintain bus-tubs, glass racks, and restock all glassware as needed
- Maintain food menus, beer menus, and draft boards, to ensure they are up to date and clean
- Possess adequate responsible alcohol service knowledge
- read and understand the company provided alcohol service guidelines
- Attend and pass testing for mandatory local Alcohol Service Permit certification within 30 days of employment
- Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to restaurant manager
- Assist in restocking and replenishment of inventory and supplies
- Assist in control of TV/sporting events at the restaurant guests requests
- Refer to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties
- Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served
- Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures
- Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period
- Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications
- Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, grills, steamers, convection oven and refrigeration equipment
- Use our Standard Recipe book for preparing all products
- Do not rely on the memory of yourself or other employees
- Maintain proper cooling charts and labeling of prepped foods according to restaurant standards
- Understand and comply consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures
- Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations
- Assists others in closing the kitchen
- Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the General Manager or manager-on-duty
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
- Inspect assigned restroom and clean as needed every 30 minutes
- Maintain the floor, vestibule and outside areas with constant spot sweeps
- Check the restaurant's exterior every 30 minutes for debris.
